Project Overview

République is a 1,000 sq.ft. brunch restaurant and bar in downtown Toronto. The design was developed to support both daytime dining and evening hospitality, creating a space with a clear identity while maintaining practical circulation, seating and service relationships. Apro Design build

Key Design Considerations

• Support both daytime brunch and evening bar service

• Create clear circulation between entrance, dining, bar and service areas

• Develop a strong street presence and recognizable hospitality identity

• Balance seating capacity with customer comfort and circulation

• Coordinate lighting, materials and millwork as one consistent design language

• Create a warmer atmosphere without making the space visually heavy

• Neutral architectural base with darker accents for contrast
